You go in for an office visit. You pay $5. The doctor charges $588. The insurance pays doctor $128. (Minus $5). The doctor writes off $465. The doctor has to carry $$ malpractice insurance. This is an insurance eco system controlled by sickness not wellness.

Unless they eliminate health insurance completely, there is no chance that they will return sanity to medicine. I think there is no chance that they can do this, because the people are so brainwashed to think that only government can help them.

Sounds like a reasonable plan and we must do something better than just supporters insurance companies! It’s about people’s ability to shop for good healthcare.

Hard to believe the Democrats will go along with any health program that doesn’t allow them to skim off most of the money for their personal gain. Obamacare was never about care for the people but just another benefit programs designed so that the politicians could seize money for themselves and if discovered deny that’s what they did and set up the justice system so you could never prosecute them and retrieve the stolen money.

I think it's great Senators and the President can work together minus the reddrick you hear on tv or posts you see online. I hope they DO work together and get this thing passed.

Not really sure what health details they need to decide on, but I always thought Paul was a great guy to care about fixing our health insurance
