Rand Paul Just Got a Critical Privacy Bill Passed
Our rights are more important than government spying
Throughout this country, privacy rights are under attack like never before. In Congress, Democrats and RINOs continue working to expand the government’s power and intrude in people’s lives. They also recently nuked a proposed FISA amendment that would instruct US federal agencies to acquire warrants before they begin spying on American citizens.
At the frontlines of the fight to uphold privacy rights is none other than Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul. The Republican lawmaker backed the aforementioned FISA amendment and has consistently opposed legislation that would encroach upon the 4th Amendment.
Not only is Paul supporting the right initiatives and fighting harmful ones, but he’s also taking proactive steps to keep the government in check. This is more than evident in the GOP lawmaker’s 4th Amendment is Not For Sale Act.
