See, when you read G Edward Griffin's(may he live for a few more years to clear this up!) book, THE CREATURE FROM JEKYLL ISLAND, in which he details the inception of this "purse in the ethers" by men from the US, England and Germany, the richest at the time(1910), then you learn SO many things about how this "animal" called the Federal Reserve Bank, is not only directing and managing the US and world economies, but is neither "federal" by definition, nor a bank, without bricks and mortar, nor a reserve...as it doesn't reserve, but prints as they need!

Read it!!

Even worse we teach our children the wrong history, from what most say it is by design.

I did not know this until I was 50 yrs old or so.

Thank you for posting this, maybe people will read the book.

Its dreadful.

The Fed isnt federal.

Thats just a word they smartly popped in there.

It Isnt government at all.

AND there aren't any reserves.

But knowing that doesnt help with a solution.

The biggest question is, "What is the solution?".

Easy: Bitcoin -- it is the peoples money, not inflatable and not controlled by governments. Shut down the FED, adopt the Bitcoin standard (like we had the Gold standard) and 80% of the worlds problems are gone!

The Fed was able to legislate 31 USC §462 in 1933 that identified the Federal Reserve’s debt of FRN’s as a Legal Tender. That added the public/govt as responsible for the Fed’s private debt. If the bogus legislation is challenged as based upon fraud, the legislation would appear to be void from its inception and the debt would be the responsibility of the private owned Fed. A for-profit entity is not acceptable as a government agency. All profit of the Fed legally belongs to the government.

Our household of 2 pays 6 figure taxes. It makes us sick that most of that money is going to finance back-biting and dark games.

I agree with the bitcoin idea, as long as it is Bitcoin, not you-know-whose private crypto enterprise.

I trust this administration, give the man Trump a chance! He has the experts there with him. Murmuring and complaining accusing doesn’t reap results! Always liked you, but you don’t play for the team.

Absolutely! The FED, and virtually every central bank in the world, has been running a scam against the people for a long time. They do it in collusion with central governments that do not want to be restricted in their ability to take as much of the people's wealth as they want for whatever purpose they choose, including regime change operations, wars, and "bribes" to politicians that will play along with their schemes. I've been writing and lecturing about this for more than 40 years. See especially my newly revised book, The End of Money and the Future of Civilization, at https://beyondmoney.net/welcome-to-the-new-2024-edition-of-the-end-of-money-and-the-future-of-civilization/.

Powell has recently announced the Fed is going to “roll off” Fed assets which will retire them. The only way to retire national debt is to sell it to the government. The Fed can do this without even asking the government for the funds. The FRBNY, as fiscal agent for the government, has exclusive authority for disbursement of government funds from auctions of Treasury securities, and to any related operation they wish to claim. Ref. 31 CFR §375.3. Administrative and regulatory supervision of the FRBNY franchise is vested in the FRBOG, Inc. Instruction by Powell to buy securities held by the BOG would be no big deal. If funds to redeem maturing securities in the market run short, well, times are tough all over. The Fed comes first. It just requires more deficit spending. It makes no difference that the assets were generated as a book-entry credit for the Fed. Such an easy way to crash the economy, bankrupt the Nation, and make it look like Congress did it.
