Don't blame Trump. It's Congress who added all their favorite kickback spending to a bill that was designed to cut 4.5 trillion from the budget. It's the old "we'll give you what you want and you give us what we want" scheme that has dominated Congress since the Bush 45 Administration. Why fight when everyone can get what they want?

The American taxpayers need to take a class action lawsuit to the ICC and sue the federal government for the racketeering practice of taking out loans in our names and forcing us by law to pay their loans. Why does the federal government get to legally defraud the American people?

I agree with most of what you said besides the "dont blame Trump" part. He's the president, and he's sponsoring the bill in it's current form. He could veto it if he wanted to, but he's not going to... Its important to cast blame towards EVERYONE culpable in damaging the country. I'm not sure what your political affiliations are but MAGA/Trump is a cult of personality, sure there were good ideas and a lot of promise at the start of Trumps second term, but it is not going well on literally every major front, and Trump shoulders most of that blame. Ultimately the buck stops at the president, and whether an idea originates from a republican senator or cabinet member, the president has final say on who he surrounds himself with and what bills he chooses to veto or sign into law.

I really think, well probably even doesn’t matter what someone can think or say in this posts, but at this time and this season, many American families are just struggling, and let it be clear, the average American family, is having hard times, groceries, gas, medical areas, so on, it really hurting all families, debt 💸 is to the roof in every household, if we don’t really cut that fiscal craziness spending, we are heading into disbelief, that will eventually put the nation under more pressure and discontent which already exists, and we can see ppl from other parties and gop , also getting richer and wealthier, but see the elite politicians doing nothing or little. Have a nice day and make America shine again, in truthfulness, common sense values, good family values and beliefs, make abortion disappeared once and for all, and so on. Have a great day!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

No wonder Elon was angry. He said he was done. He put his life and his business in danger to do the right thing and he was justified in doing so. I was angry when it was linked to what was and wasn’t in the bill, and all his and the doge crew efforts weren’t included in the bill. Did Trump really not know the cuts weren’t included? What about speaker Johnson? Was it Johnson who removed them. I just don’t understand. If I don’t have the money to purchase something, I don’t buy it. I expect the same thing from these people. This was number three on my wish list for Trumps to accomplish and if he signs this bill without the cuts, it makes me wonder if he was just blowing smoke. He has to know. Does he? I suppose we will see.

To ensure that this isn’t a temporary majority, Trump should stop withholding taxes by EO as in 2020. This would expose the size of the federal government, is revenue neutral and has been done before. The outrage when 4/15 or quarterly payments are due would be effective in exposing the scam.

And if he doesn’t want to use an EO again, the Republican Congress should pass a bill. Since it is revenue neutral it should be easy if one is truly concerned about the size of the government. (A big IF)

I stopped being a Republican after the Contract With America. It was DOA. We now have The One Big Beautiful Bill and it is a joke. Then there is DOGE. A lot of the guys who were the driving force, behind this effort, put in hundreds of hours on their own dime to offer input into stopping government waste. Basically every Republican Law maker dumped on them. I don’t blame Musk for telling them to pound sand. And what the hell is the reason for taking August off? I am basically done with the Republican Party. In MO we have a few sayings

Show me!

You can tell the worth of a man by how well

he keeps his word?

Useless as tits on a boar hog!

You know how you can tell a politician is

Laying ? His lips are moving.

I am not saying that all politicians meet this criteria but I believe that 99 % do.

I have one request. “Prove me wrong! I dare you!

My thoughts on the subject.

I trust Rand Paul more than anyone in Federal leadership! I frankly dont understand logic of this enormous bill. But the only one to stop the murderous Fauci and big pharmaceutical corruption was Rand Paul and they still haven't stopped killing people with boosters despite the tremendous evidence emerging. I know this however, if I dont pay my bills, and borrow, eventually I go bankrupt. I'd suggest that truth applies at national level!

I felt the same way as you about Rand Paul. But I’m getting sick of him. Voting with the Democrats does not help us go read Dan Suber today. He opened my eyes.

So RAND PAUL is going to vote with the Democrats and the other RINOS. Honestly, I really like grandpa Paul, but I’m getting sick of this. I’m getting sick of his bitching about this because he’s had how many years in the Senate and he’s done nothing about it. Go over and read Dan Suber today. He’s right on about why they should pass this bill. They just all hate Donald Trump every single one of those RINOS hate Donald Trump more than they love this country. I’m done with any so-called Republican that votes with the Democrats. I’m unsubscribing from Rand Paul review if and when he votes along with the Democrats.

Big Beautiful Bill is a disaster. It’s unbelievable to watch how incompetent and uninformed Trump are when it comes to economy. I thought he was a businessman but what his doing is a total loser game for USA. There are no winners in tariffs only losers. Trump are so naive that he thinks the rest of the world will obey his demands and he can dictate them their trade politics to benefit USA. That will not happen. USA are only 4% of the world’s population and their market can be replaced and most of the things they sell to other countries can be bought elsewhere The reason USA have an enormous debt close to 37.000 trillion dollars and have huge trade deficit is not because other countries steal from USA and exploits them. It’s because USA for decades spend more money than they earn. Tariffs will not make the trade deficit smaller because other countries will stop trading with USA so it will only make the deficit bigger. Instead of threatening the whole world and blame them for all USAs problems Trump should make free trade deals with them. USA will never again become a manufacturing nation Their workers don’t have the skills there are needed today and it will be very costly and not competitive. If Trump spend a week traveling around in China he will see that they are light years ahead of USA and EU. Both when it comes to infrastructure technology and military. They are not our enemy but want to do business with us. They have not attacked other countries and constantly been in war with other countries like USA is. If Trump really wishes to cut costs and reduce the debts and trade deficits he should focus on the domestic problems and not abroad. USAs endless illegal loser wars are the main cause for their big debt USA are always in war but they don’t have a war economy The weapon industry are private own companies and they earn billions on wars but the US state don’t. They buy the weapons and pay a high price then they use them or give them away to Israel Ukraine and other nations or they are destroyed or just left behind like in Afghanistan then they escaped from their defeat They say that Ukraine Israel and others shall pay for the weapons but they never get the money it’s naive to believe that Ukraine can pay back all the billions $ and weapons they have got from USA. And the mineral agreement is useless and if it works it will cost billions to start mining and take decades. USA should also close and dissolve most of their more than 850 military bases around the world 1000 of miles from USA. They use the bases to spy provoke and attack countries who never have threatened them. USA should also leave NATO it should have been dissolved in 1991 together with the Warsaw Pact Europe must be responsible for their own security. But Trump do not dare to reduce the powerful Military industrial complex MIC instead he cut funding to universities and other institutions. Trumps ill-conceived desperate panic politics will not MAGA. Instead it will make America poorer and in conflict with most of the world. So far the Biden administration and Trumps politics have strengthened the cooperation between China Russia and other BRICS nations and the more Trump shouts, screams and threatens them the stronger they will become. They are about 60% of the world’s population compared to USAs 4%. Trump say that USA are respected again but that’s not true. The world are watching what’s going on in USA and they are laughing and don’t take them seriously Trump totally change his mind and don’t have a clear strong strategy. Now Musk has also abandoned the sinking ship. It has cost him billions to be involved with Trump. The Tesla sales in EU have declined significantly with about 50 % compared to last year. Trump also said he would be a president of peace and he would stop the proxy war against Russia in Ukraine within 24 hours. Instead he have escalated the war also in Gaza where he and USA support genocide and the corrupt war criminal psychopath Netanyahu He has bomb Yemen are threatening Iran and China are in conflict with EU. And he have only been in office 4 1/2 month. If he continues what he has done so far USA will be isolated and in recession for a long time.
